BUYING


1. I'm interested to purchase the products you show? What must I do?

You must sign up and send the web form that is in each online catalogue, specifying quantity for each reference you wish to buy, please be sure to comply with the minimum order for samples that is shown in the catalogues. We will send you a complete quotation including shipping costs and delivery time. Remember that for retail and wholesale purchases you can buy online.

2. I am interested to purchase the products you show for my personal use. Can you sell me?

Yes. We accept retail orders. If a product is not shown in the online store or you cannot add it to the shopping Cart, is because it is not available for retail orders.


3. I want to receive catalogues by mail, can you send them?

We do not have printed catalogues, all the information about our products is published in the online catalogues. To request a quotation please register and use the form in each catalogue to send us quantities for each reference.


4. What companies do you use for product delivery?

For products sent by courier we use FedEx Priority or Economy services , or International Certified Mail for small retail orders. For orders that need formal exportation logistics (above USD $5000) we have different options for transport, customs handling and logistics; we use the method that best suites the buyer and the type of business.


5. What is the difference between the published offers and the products shown in the catalogues?

The products shown in our catalogues are mostly sold directly by our company. When you reply one of the published offers, ProductsofColombia.com will receive the information and give it to the supplier, in case of business your party will deal and make the purchase directly with the supplier. In some cases you can contact the supplier directly if the company information is available in the website.

6. What are your business and selling conditions?

Once you decide to purchase for wholesale any product of the following categories: Crafts, Jewelry and Bijouterie, Leather, Clothing or Decoration, you must make a bank transfer that includes the price of the products plus delivery and insurance, when we confirm the transfer, we inmediatily place an order to the manufacturers and afterwards export the products. For samples, retail orders and wholesale orders below USD $1200 we accept payments with credit card; for very large orders we can consider L/C or downpayments. Delivery time depends on quantity of products, manufacturing and exportation/delivery logistics. WE DO NOT GIVE CREDITS AND NEVER SHIP PRODUCTS WITHOUT RECEIVING FULL PAYMENT.


For Foods, Commodities and industrial products, our company will put you in contact with the supplier and the business conditions will be whatever the buyer and supplier agree (ie. T/T or irrevocable L/C payable against B/L, opened with a well known bank).


7. What Warranty do your products have?

Any product of the following categories: Crafts, Bijouterie, Leather, Wood, Clothing or Decoration, have a limited warranty for manufacturing defects. Once the buyer receives the merchandise it must verify it. Any request for warranties must be done within the time lapse of 4 days after the products are delivered and must include detailed photographs of the damaged products. Once this procedure is done we will study your request and will return the money equivalent of the damaged merchandise. We do not accept claims after 4 days after delivery have passed. IMPORTANT: If merchandise is missing or arrives broken due to bad handling, we will make effective the insurance with the courier and the procedure for this matter must be followed. For Foods, Commodities, industrial products or any case when the supplier deals directly with you, the business conditions and warranty policies will be whatever the buyer (you) and the supplier agree.


8. What Taxes must I pay for importing the products?

Most of our products appear with their tarriff code in the catalogues, if this data is not published, please ask one of our sales representatives. In any case, it is the sole responsability of the buyer to comply with customs authorities at the destination country or to pay any import taxes.


IMPORTANT: Formal exportations logistics are required if the purchase is above USD $5000 or above 100 kilograms. If available, we send origin certificates for exportations; if a colombian product has a tariff preference in your country you pay a reduced tax or no tax at all.

For orders above USD $4000 that do not require formal exportation the customer can ask for the origin certificate but delivery could take more time.
